Singing For Pleasure
Singing for Pleasure meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in the Reading Room, Old Road, Buckland RH2 7DY. [2nd Monday in case of Bank Holidays]. Find us listed at the back of the Buckland Parish Magazine.
We sing from 10am – 12noon, including a social coffee break.
Gina Eason, our professional pianist/conductor selects our programme with the aim for us to experience the enjoyment, fulfilment and sense of wellbeing that music and singing can bring about. We normally sing songs which are popular and well known, a varied and well contrasted selection of different styles and idioms which everyone can enjoy. About twice a year there is the opportunity to sing to small audiences in various locations.
No audition, no need to read music – but a chance to learn how to. Feel free to join us at no cost for a sample session. We welcome new members.
