SCC Highways Drainage Works – Station Road, Betchworth

Surrey Highways has announced an intention to commence drainage repairs on Monday 21st October 2024 to address longstanding issues with surface water drainage impacting safety on the length of Station Road extending from Betchworth roundabout to Betchworth level crossing.

The Surrey Roadworks Map lists the details of a licence that grants a 7 day emergency closure of the length of Station Road between Betchworth roundabout and the railway crossing that will be in effect 24/7. The details state that pedestrian access will be maintained.

The temporary traffic lights will remain in place until the closure comes into force. To read more about the works and the investigations undertaken earlier this year please read the letter published on the Surrey Roadworks website, a copy of which is available to download.
